As a Main Street America™ Accredited program, it is committed to creating high-quality sights and also to build stronger communities through preservation-based economic development.

Key Initiatives for Montrose Development and Revitalization

Façade Improvement Matching Grant Program: This program provides financial assistance to business owners for exterior improvements, helping to beautify the city and to also attract more visitors.
Mural Grant Program: Encouraging artistic expression, this initiative supports the creation of murals that add color and character to Montrose.
Restaurant Emergency Grant Program: In response to unforeseen challenges, this program offers financial support to local restaurants, ensuring they can continue to serve the community.
Opportunity Zones Participation: DART leverages Opportunity Zones to attract investment as well as stimulate economic growth in designated areas.
