2. Mortgage Rates: Predicted to ease but remain volatile. Buyers should monitor rates closely as small changes can impact mortgage payments significantly.
3. Buyer’s Markets: The Southwest is expected to join the Midwest and South as regions favoring buyers, with more listings and improved affordability.
4. Living Trends: Americans are shifting towards smaller, cozier homes for affordability and sustainability, moving away from large, open floor plans.

The new construction market should continue to grow if the housing market continues to have a limited supply.  New home construction makes up about 30% of the home buying market according to US News and World Report with builders continuing to see advantages to building then this part of the market should remail strong.

Overall, 2025 is shaping up to be a calmer year for the housing market, with more opportunities for buyers to find suitable homes. For Colorado, it is predicted that home buying trends, along with its market and including all the amazing outdoor activities available will continue to make this an attractive place to live.
